They presented on “AI in Medico-Legal Psychology: Navigating Ethics, Consent, and Client Care” to contribute to a growing conversation at the intersection of technology and clinical practice.

Dr. Lee represented Clinical Psychology at Culture and Psychology, an event hosted by York University and the Bridge of Culture Organization.

The conference was a meaningful space to highlight the role of psychology in diverse contexts and gain some highly relevant cultural insights.

Financial Therapy Association
Location: Athens, Georgia

The 2025 Financial Therapy Association (FTA) in Athens, Georgia was a huge success for our enriched mindset team! We were so excited to deliver a variety of presentations by Dr. Lee, Emilia Kasprzak, Nicole Quelhas, and Olivia Tryburski. They were able to connect with professionals, researchers and educators from across the country in a collaborative effort to explore the intersection of money and mental health.

Dr. Lee and Emilia Kasprzak co-hosted a 25-minute roundtable at the CPA Conference titled "Undergrad Psych: Challenges & Career Success". The session explored real struggles psych students face and gathered input to propose actionable changes in the psychology community. This was a wonderful opportunity to help shape a more supportive, transparent, and career-focused undergraduate psychology experience.

Dr. Lee and Emilia Kasprzak presented their “Rejection Sensitivity and Conspicuous Spending: How Social Experiences Influence Consumer Behaviour in Socially Anxious Individuals.” This project was a collaborative effort with the University of Waterloo, with the opportunity to work closely with Professor Dr. David Moscovitch and lab coordinator Kashish Kahlon from the Social Anxiety Research Lab.
The preliminary results revealed a novel relationship between self-esteem and perceived inclusion, offering new insights into the psychological mechanisms that drive consumer behaviour among socially anxious individuals.
